Permissioned DeFi Liquidity Pool

Resumo

Project LIFT set out to promote innovation in the Brazilian financial
industry specifically relating to the issuance of a digital version of the
Brazilian Real by the Brazilian Central Bank (BCB). Aave Companies,
the software development company best known for developing the Aave
protocol, proposed the deployment of a permissioned liquidity pool to
demonstrate how settlement utilizing a central bank digital currency
(CBDC) could work for the Brazilian financial services industry. The
pilot was designed to showcase the benefits of DeFi, while ensuring the
integrity of the current system and compliance with existing regulation.
